There is a place with wooden toys and sundries next to Morinji, which is known for the legend “Magic Badger kettle” in Tatebayashi. It is a shop of furniture that makes you feel comfortable with the smell of cypress sticks selected by the representative, Takahashi from Gifu prefecture while entering the store. Dolls and toys of Shiraki, wooden tableware and some other stuff made by craftsmen are arranged on the shelf, which is easy for you to visit.

 

There is a studio experience room next to this shop where the owner will let you select your favorite animal sample, then you will use one cypress to make a small toy in about 30 minutes with the help of a craftsman. After that, one is advised to sharpen the outside with a file to make it feel closer to the skin of mothers.
